We decided to make calzones for dinner tonight!
They were fairly simple and only took about a half an hour to make!
All you need is:
- Pizza dough
- Pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Your option of toppings
We started by rolling out the pizza tough to fit the pan.
(Don't worry if it hangs over the edge of the pan a little bit.)
Then, we put pizza sauce down the middle... followed by cheese and toppings.
After that, we cut the sides of the dough into strips, and crossed them over on an angle.
Then all we had to do was bake at 425 for 20 minutes!
We also chose to brush a little olive oil on the top after it was done so the crust didn't dry out!
While we waited for our delicious dinner to cook, we make some strawberry-kiwi smoothies!
For the smoothies we just blended up:
- 2 fresh, pealed kiwis
- 1 cup of strawberrys
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1 cup ice
- Dash of milk
